Price-drop radar

Catch the drop.
Skip the noise.

Paste a product URL. Bargains records the price, checks it on a schedule, and logs a drop when the number falls.

Start a watch

Required: a product page URL and an email. Optional: a target price. After submit you get a secret permalink — bookmark it. That link is how you see status without an account.

We store the URL and email to check the price and notify you. We do not sell the list. A drop is new price < last seen price; if you set a target, the new price must also be at or below that target. The first successful fetch is only a baseline — no alert.

How the radar works

01 · Watch

You name the product

We fetch the page with a normal browser user-agent and read JSON-LD, product price meta, itemprop, or og tags. If we cannot parse a price we keep the watch and record the error — we do not invent a number.

02 · Check

On a schedule

A worker cron runs about every 20 minutes. Recently checked watches are skipped so we do not hammer shops. You can also trigger a scan at POST /api/check.

03 · Alert

A real row, then a ping

Every drop writes an alerts row. It shows on your permalink and on the public log. Email is sent only when a mail key is configured; otherwise the page log is the notification.

Try the mixer

Need a product that we can actually move? Fieldcast No. 4 is a demo page on this site. Watch https://bargains.app/demo/mixer, then a price change plus a check will produce a real alert.
